Zito vinificatori dal 1870

ZITO vinificatori dal 1870
Zito is one of the oldest wineries in Calabria, founded in 1870 by Stefano Zito. His son, Giovanni Zito, bottled the first bottled wine in 1972, which was an absolute novelty in this area, as wine was largely traded loose to date. Today, Valentino and Francesco Zito run the fourth generation of the farm, which cultivates 80 hectares of vineyards, part of them in the plain near the sea, the rest in the hills north and south of Cirò. Almost exclusively the typical grape varieties Greco and Gaglioppo are planted.
