Tenuta di Trinoro

Tenuta di Trinoro
The name Tenuta di Trinoro has a great reputation among the initiated, Trinoro is one of the highest rated wineries in Italy. Andrea Franchetti polarises with his wines because, like himself, they exude a certain eccentricity and extraordinaryness. Trinoro is located in the upper Val d'Orcia, a remote area in the province of Siena, where there had never been any vines before Franchetti's time. Often criticized, but just part of his very focused on French understanding of wine and oenology philosophy is also the focus on Bordelaiser grapevineslike Merlot, Cabernet and Petit Verdot. It can not be a miracle, as his advisors were initially Jean Luc Thunevin of Château Valandraud and Peter Sisseck (Pingus).
