The name "LOAM" has a double meaning: on the one hand, the dialect reference from the dialect to the terroir, because Loam means clay in the dialect. On the other hand, it refers to the loamy and calcareous soil south of the hamlet of Rungg, on which it grew. The vineyards have been known for centuries to deliver excellent red wines. The Cabernet and Merlot wines were aged separately for 16 months in French barriques and then combined into a cuvée.
