Description

Lagrein is the indigenous red grape variety of South Tyrol, it was already mentioned in the 17th century in writings of the monastery Muri in Bolzano. The grapes from vineyards near Auer, Neumarkt and Tramin are fermented in steel and concrete containers, then part of the wine matures in large wooden barrels. A very independent yet uncomplicated wine.
