The grapes for this top wine come from selected locations near Cormons and Monte Quarin. The vines, which are over 30 years old, stand there on marl and sandstone floors. The Pinot is fermented in barriques after handpicking and gentle pressing and, after the first racking, it is also matured on the fine lees for 12 months. A great Pinot Blanc, a variety that has been grown in the Collio area with outstanding results since the 19th century.
