Starting with the 2009 vintage, Vittorio Fiore also produces a top-class Chianti Classico. This is also pressed from the original clone Sangiovese di Lamole. The vines, which are over 20 years old, are located 450 meters on terraces with barren alluvial and sandy soils, which minimize the yield from the outset. These vineyards are located in one of the best areas of Tuscany, Ruffoli in the municipality of Greve in Chianti. Remarkably, this wine is not aged in wooden barrels, but only for ten months in concrete, followed by three months of aging in the bottle.
