The Cru Sori Tildin appeared with the year 1970 for the first time. He is also a filet piece from the Roncagliette with a perfect southern exposure, named after Gaja's grandmother Tildin. From the vintage 1996, this wine is also called Langhe DOC, which allows Gaja to allow 5% Barbera to round off. The Sori Tildin is aged for two years partly in barriques, partly in large wooden barrels.
